Lily Allen arrested

Pop star Lily Allen has been arrested for allegedly attacking a photographer outside a nightclub. The 22-year-old singer attended a police station in central London by appointment. She was released on police bail after being questioned over an alleged assault on a man near the Wardour club in London's Soho on March 13. Scotland Yard said: "At 9.30am yesterday, a 21-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment. "She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return on a date in late July." Allen built up a huge following via her MySpace page before releasing her debut single, Smile, which topped the chart last July. The star recently postponed her US tour, saying she wanted to get back into the recording studio. She is the daughter of actor Keith Allen.

50 Cent in child support court battle

The $25,000 a month in child support and household expenses that rapper 50 Cent pays to the mother of his 10-year-old son is not enough, says the boy's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins.
The rapper is "worth tens and tens of millions of dollars," said her attorney, Raoul Felder. The parents of young Marquise Jackson are wrangling over the issue in family court in this Long Island community, where 50 Cent arrived Friday in an armored SUV equipped with a satellite dish. 50 Cent no longer needs to worry about the choice he famously expressed on a 2004 album - "Get Rich or Die Tryin'." With his G-Unit record label, clothing line, ring tones and other enterprises, 50 Cent - whose real name is Curtis Jackson - reeled in an estimated $33 million in the past year, according to Forbes. He has sold more than 11 million albums and has a new album, "Curtis," due out in September. His lawyer, Brett Kimmel, called Tompkins "insatiable." "Her demands keep escalating," he told the Daily News. Closed-door hearings on the child-support case are scheduled to continue this coming week.

Timberlake attacks Swedish fans

Justin Timberlake has disappointed fans in Sweden by verbally attacking locals and spitting on them, according to reports. The star and his entourage, including girlfriend Jessica Biel, visited the Hard Rock Cafe in Gothenberg, and was called "f**k face" by a teenage fan after he refused to sign autographs. Timberlake is alleged to have retorted, "Are you calling me f**k face? Go f**k yourself." The youngster and his friends then followed the star back to the Elite Plaza hotel in the city, where the SexyBack star continued a bizarre tirade of abuse. An onlooker tells the Daily Mirror, "First a load of ping-pong balls came raining down (from his balcony). Then came a plastic bottle of water. After that, there was strawberries and fruit. And them came the phlegm!" Fan Nino Antonio El-Khoury was photographed by paparazzi with spit on the back of his clothing, which he claims was expelled from the mouth of Timberlake: "Justin spat on me". Local newspaper Aftonbladet also claims the singer was not on top form on his visit to the country, writing, "Justin was in a foul mood. Jessica wanted to take a picture of him and he was angry. He snapped, `Do you want me to juggle for you as well?'"

Led Zeppelin to reform

Led Zeppelin are reportedly about to reunite for a one-off memorial concert. If true, it would mark the third time that the 70s legends have played since disbanding. After the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, founding members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones regrouped for Live Aid in 1985 (with Phil Collins) and for Atlantic Records' 40th Anniversary concert (with Bonham's son Jason). It is now suggested that the latter formation will play a special concert in memory of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun in London. A source said: "Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date. And no-one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out. "It has been hoped-for and denied for years. But this is the closest they have ever come to a reunion tour. The feeling is that this is going to happen next year." Ertegun died in December 2006 following a fall at a Rolling Stones concert. The likes of Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Stevie Nicks and Crosby, Stills & Nash all played his New York memorial in April of this year.

Garbage with new single

Garbage will release of a new single, "Tell Me Where It Hurts", on July 16. The track is taken from "Absolute Garbage", a best of compilation, which will be issued a week later on July 23. Despite being on hiatus since 2005, the group reunited in January 2007 to play a benefit concert in California. "Absolute Garbage" will be available as a double disc CD with a bonus DVD of music videos, live clips and behind-the-scenes footage. The bonus CD will feature remixes from the likes of UNKLE, Massive Attack, The Crystal Method, Todd Terry and Felix Da Housecat.

Ozzy sold his famous house

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have sold their famous house in Beverly Hills to Christina Aguilera. “I don’t want to stay in that house any more,” Ozzy reportedly said. “The house holds bad memories for me because it reminds me of the terrible time Sharon got cancer and of times when me and the kids were doped out of our minds.” Fair enough.
